Guest Blog on Imperfectly Happy Homesteading

Imperfectly Happy Homesteading has been a one-woman show for nearly 4 years. I have occasionally had friends contribute a post but nothing on a regular basis. But there are so many great topics I’d like to write about but lack either time or experience for them.  That’s where you wonderful guest bloggers can shine!

Please note, I will not accept posts companies trying to sell a product, freelance writers with no homesteading experience or anyone just looking for link backs. I won’t even respond to those requests.

I am looking to talk to bloggers who need some exposure, homesteaders, gardeners and DIYers with something to share. Great recipes from real food are great too!

Guest Bloggers Receive:

  • A bio with links to your site and social media.
  • Up to 3 relevant affiliate links in your content for continuous revenue for your contribution.

If you’re interested please send me a short intro with a link to your blog and a few ideas you have for posts. Send to MyImperfectlyHappy at Gmail dot com

Guest Bloggers Will Provide:

Original Content – 100% original content is required; this is non-negotiable. The content you provide must not be published now or in the future anywhere else. However if you want to do a post on your site introducing your guest blog on Imperfectly Happy, that is perfectly acceptable.

Grammar / Spelling – Please do your best to submit an article that is not only engaging, but well written. Make sure you’ve checked the spelling and have done your best to make sure it is grammatically correct. I, of course, retain the right to make corrections as I see fit.

Photography – Photos are required for recipe and educational posts (crafts, DIY, etc). Photographs remain your property. However it is in our best interest if you do not republish the same photos for other content. It looks bad for the both of us if the same picture is seen in multiple locations. I will, however mark each photo with the Imperfectly Happy Homesteading logo, so no other watermark can be on the photo.

Word Count – Guest posts need to be 500 – 1500 words. If you have a topic that will take more than 1500 words to cover we can talk about creating a series of posts.

Currently I am Looking for Topics:

  • Beekeeping
  • Livestock
  • Fermentation
  • Canning
  • Dehydrating
  • Topics Relating to Self Reliance
  • Real Food Recipes
  • Cheese Making
  • DIY Projects
  • Alternative Power
  • Permaculture
  • Small Scale Aquaponics

Other topics will be considered.  If you’re interested in being a guest blogger, please send me a short intro with a link to your blog and a few ideas you have for posts. Send to MyImperfectlyHappy at Gmail dot com
