Instant Pot Fall Potpourri Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Apples
  • 2 Oranges
  • 2 tbsp Whole Cloves
  • 1 tbsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 8 Sticks of Cinnamon
  • 4 cups Water
  • 4 tbsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

Instant Pot Instructions

  1. If you’re using the Instant Pot, slice the apples and oranges into ¼-inch slices, add in your ½ tablespoon of nutmeg, followed by the apple and orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. Be sure to evenly disperse everything. 

    Repeat the process with the rest of your ingredients before putting the content of the jar into the instant pot and using the sauté feature.

    You’ll need to add two cups of water and two tablespoons of vanilla per jar, bringing it to a boil while leaving the lid of your Instant Pot off.

Slow Cooker Instructions

  1. Add contents of the mason jar into slow cooker and set to high heat. Add 2 cups of water and 2 tablespoons of vanilla per jar and bring to a boil. Leave the lid off.

    Enjoy the fall smells.

Stove Top Instructions

  1. Add all contents to a pot on the stove. Bring to a boil. Once at a boil, reduce to a simmer.

    Keep a close eye on the water levels and add more water as needed.

    Leave any lids off.
