Easy Slower Cooker Crock Pot Shredded Chicken


  • 3 Pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken breast or thighs
  • 1 Cup Chicken or Vegetable Broth you can use water too in a pinch
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt 2 teaspoons if using water instead of broth
  • 2 Teaspoons Pepper
  • Other seasonings to your taste optional


  1. Put your chicken meat in the crock pot.
  2. Add the broth of your choice or water.
  3. Add your seasonings.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 - 8 hours for best results. You can also cook on high for 3 - 4 hours if you need them faster.
  5. Shred and use in your favorite shredded chicken recipes.
