Sausage Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs Breakfast Sausage
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage over medium heat until it is cooked through and browned. Cast iron gives it a nice, crispy texture.

  2. Once sausage is cooked combine milk and flour and whisk together to remove any lumps.

  3. Slowly pour milk/flour mixture into the pan and turn down heat.

  4. Cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until gravy thickens, stirring often to prevent burning.

  5. Remove from heat.

  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  7. This simple gravy is perfect served over biscuits or as a side dish to eggs.
