Make Ahead Chicken Parmesan Freezer Meal

  • 4 Cooked Chicken breasts (cubed or shredded)
  • 28 oz Marinara sauce
  • 3/4 cup Grated parmesan
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (homemade or panko is fine)
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic salt

  1. Cook chicken if raw. Cube or shred chicken.

  2. Combine mozzarella and parmesan, set aside.

  3. Combine breadcrumbs, oil, and garlic salt.

Assemble Casserole

  1. Spray freezer-proof baking dish (use disposable if you plan to give this meal away)

  2. Evenly spread the cooked chicken on the bottom of a 10x13 dish.

  3. Pour marinara sauce over top, smooth out with spoon or rubber spatula.

  4. Sprinkle cheese mixture evenly over top of sauce.

  5. Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture on top.

  6. Cover with heavy-duty aluminum foil.

  7. Freeze.

To Serve

  1. Thaw in fridge overnight.

  2. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

  3. Once cooked through and bubbly, remove foil and broil for 2-3 minutes to brown breadcrumbs.
