Dutch Oven No Knead Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups All purpose flour aerated and divided
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt, coarse
  • 1 tbsp active yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups Water

Instructions

  1. Add yeast to hot water and let sit for 5 minutes.

  2. Add 3 cups of flour and salt to a mixing bowl

  3. Once the yeast is foamy, add to the flour and begin to work the mixture into a sticky but firm dough

  4. Cover with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let sit for 1 hour

  5. Preheat the oven to 450°f.

  6.  Lightly dust a flat dry surface and gently work the dough into a round loaf.

  7. Add a large sheet of parchment paper to the Dutch oven and place your dough inside.

  8. Cover with the lid and cook at 450°f for 30 minutes.
