I recommend that you start prepping today. Seems like a big statement, even like a warning. I am calling this post Prepping for Non-Preppers; but I haven’t turned into a doomsday prepper overnight. However, I am aware of the global climate (not talking weather folks).
Even the United States Government recommends that you have emergency supplies on hand. I know many homesteaders are canning up their garden goodies, but many are not. I know that prepping or survivalist movement of today can be a bit overkill for some. But I believe this isn’t a new idea just another vintage skill we’ve forgotten. I remember my grandparents always talking about having something put away for a rainy day. I know that it was just a thing most people did; you stored food. Prepping today doesn’t have to mean building fox holes in your backyard. It is being ready for the unexpected and the unknown. Being able to take care of you, your loved ones and your animals when some unplanned event occurs (personally, locally or globally).
I will be talking about beginning preps over the next few weeks. Don’t be intimated or feel like it all has to happen right now. Start prepping today where you can, where your budget allows.
