Today I want to share some of our favorite chapter books for read aloud time. These are what I call “transition books”. They are chapter books that usually have a few illustrations for your kiddos that still want some visual but long for a deeper story.
These are not listed in any particular order, just as they came to me from the depths of my memory or turning around looking at the bookshelf. 😉 Some may be familiar but you just might find a few that aren’t.
