I found a fantastic deal on a pork sirloin roast today at Sprouts that I couldn’t pass up!
Came home and whipped this little combo together and I was very pleased with the results.
It fell apart as a served it up with a little of the juices. 🙂
I hope you enjoy it too!
Sweet & Savory Pork Roast
Crock pot
3-4 lbs Pork Roast (I used sirloin cut)
Enough apple juice to cover the roast about 1/2 way up
Spices – I used Trader Joe’s 21 Spice Salute but salt, pepper and your favorite pork spices will be fine
2 Tablespoons of honey
Cinnamon
Place the roast in the crock pot and add the apple juice. You only want it to come up about 1/2 way up the roast, not covering it entirely.
Sprinkle with your choice of spices
Drizzle the honey over the roast
Now sprinkle with just enough cinnamon to give the surface a light dusting
Cover and cook on low for 5 – 6 (internal temp should be 145 degrees F)
