3rd Blogiverary – can I get a B*I*G High Five? Yes, I’ve been blogging on Imperfectly Happy now for 3 years. The blog has grown a lot in the last 3 years and many of you have been with me from the beginning, so you know!
Three years ago I needed a place to share my ideas, recipes, DIYs and a place to share my backyard homestead. I wasn’t sure if anyone even be interested in reading what I had to say. But then people started commenting, following the blog on Facebook, pinning articles on Pinterest and WOW….I was shocked and super happy! It is good to know that I am helping others with what I’ve learned the hard way.
But we are still in the beginning stages as blogs go…there is so much more to come. I hope you’ll keep reading the articles, sharing the ones you love and please keep commenting and messaging me. I love all your feedback!
Thank you to my regular readers for your support and welcome to new readers who’ve come to enter the giveaway!

I love your blog. I also love gardening seeds.
Right now I only have a few tomatoes in the garden… we just moved, so we are prepping the land for the fall! But I have 2 HUGE fig trees that are producing like crazy! Can’t wait to harvest 🙂
Congratulations on your blogiversary!! <3
Happy Blogiversary! This year I am adding more raised beds. I’ve got my nightshades and and herbs in. I am behind on corn and zukes.
Mostly herbs because I don’t have a lot of space, but also a few greens.
Happy blogiversary!
Happy Blogiversary!
Your articles are both informational and inspirational! 🙂
Congrats on the three years! It;s a lot of work, but we do appreciate it. 🙂
So what’s growing in this years gardens? I went cucurbit crazy this year and decided to plant out all the various seeds I got from Baker Creek and other sources over the last few years. You know, sort of see what grows best and what we like best, in the hopes that in the future I’d limit my seed buying to those (Ok, not likely, but it’s a goal.) So we have 3 different watermelons, 3 different cantaloupes, another melon, some pumpkins, 2 kinds of cukes, broccoli, tomatoes, 2 kinds of beans, 3 kinds of peas, glass gem corn, lettuce, dill, and just for fun, trying to grow some luffa gourds. Whew! I’m tired just typing all of that! Good luck with your garden, and your blog. May they both grow and produce more than you expected.
I’m trying again. I just love Bakers Creek seeds.
Warmest congratulations on your blogiversary! You are an old hand compared to me! Isn’t it great to feel a part of a like-minded community, express views, and share ideas.
It is winter in the southern hemisphere, and I’ve been picking beans, bok choy, & lettuce; and digging up ginger and turmeric for soups and curries. The broccoli leaves are getting quite big and I’m sure the head will start to appear soon. We still have 1 pumpkin left from the autumn harvest. So a little bit of this and a little bit of that goes toward many of our main meals.
Thank you for a lovely blog, and wishing you the very best.
Everything! Our carrots aren’t doing so good this year (I suspect rabbits) but the beans, peas, onions, garlic, corn, tomatoes … are all doing wonderfully!
We are just finishing up with our tomatoes and cucumbers. But still have peppers, watermelon, eggplant and okra growing.
tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon, lettuce, pumpkins, zucchini, jalapenos, weeds
I love your blog, thank you for what you do!
And I have carrots, corn, potatoes, tomatoes, and beans growing.
