Chickens Work that Garden

July 20, 2013 by Tiffany Davis 1 Comment

chickentunnelIf you own chickens you already know they love the greens and bugs from a garden.  They also produce waste that can enrich a compost pile.  But they can be so much more to your garden…they can work it!

How do you prepare a garden or raised bed for need planting?  It can often mean tilling, weeding, turning the soil, adding fertilizer and a lot of sweat.  But what if…what if your hens could spend some time in that area and decrease your work or even do all but the planting?

Sound too good to be true????

Check out The Chicken Tunnel man!

So what do you think?  Will you be putting your girls to work?
