Ingredients for Making Homemade Bread

If you plan on making this white bread at home, then you will need to know the ingredients. The good news is that this is a very simple recipe and anyone can make it. You don’t need a certain level of skills to make bread.

Remember practice makes perfect, so the more you make it, the better the recipe turnout will be!

  • All-purpose flour. You will need all-purpose flour to make white bread that’s homemade. You can buy this at almost any store. You do not need bread flour for this recipe.
  • Sugar. Although it may seem weird to put sugar in bread, this is a necessary ingredient for making bread.
  • Salt. Another ingredient that may seem weird in homemade bread, but also very important to making bread at home.
  • Milk. Make sure you have plenty of milk on hand to help you make this bread.

The other two ingredients that you need for this recipe are water and butter. All of these ingredients are basic staples of a household. I try to always keep them on hand because I always anticipate needing to make a loaf of bread at any time.
