Equipment Need to Make Banana Bread.

This recipe will make 4 individual loaves of sweet banana bread right in your Instant Pot. You’ll need:

(4) Pint Size, Wide Mouth Canning Jars
Instant Pot
Large Mixing Bowl – for dry ingredients
Medium Mixing Bowl – for wet ingredients
Whisk
Foil

How to Make Banana Bread

Now you’re ready to make this pressure cooker banana bread – here are the step by step instructions:

First gather all your ingredients.

Banana bread recipe step 1

In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, brown and white sugar, baking soda, and salt.

Banana bread recipe step 2

In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: eggs, butter, milk, and vanilla extract

Banana bread recipe step 3

In the large bowl with the dry ingredients, create a well in the center. Pour into the center of the well your wet ingredients. Mix well.

Add in your mashed bananas to the bread mixture. Mix well.

Pour one cup of water into your Instant Pot. Place the trivet inside.

Banana bread recipe step 4

Spray cooking spray inside each jar. Pour in the banana bread mixture evenly amongst 4 jars (I suggest using large mouth, pint size jars).

Place aluminum foil over each jar. Carefully place each jar on the trivet.

Put the lid on the Instant Pot, and close the vent.

Cook on High Pressure for 20 minutes and allow it to release manually (should take about 15 minutes).

Remove the jars carefully from the instant pot using a towel or hot pad. Transfer to a cooling rack. Allow the bread to cool completely.

Remove the aluminum foil and enjoy!

You can eat straight from the jar with a spoon, or turn the jar upside down on a plate, slice, and serve with butter!

How to Store Banana Bread

These little loaves can be kept in your fridge, right in the jars, with the lids on for up to 3 days. You can also remove them and store them in another airtight cotainer.

The banana bread can be frozen and should maintain its flavor and texture for up to 3 months if wrap in plastic wrap before freezing.

I hope you enjoy this great recipe as much as we have!
