DIY ornaments for Christmas are a special tradition around our house. We try every year to make something new for our Christmas tree. I love handmade ornaments.
These DIY Christmas Ornaments are surprisingly easy to make. The ornaments have a whimsical, almost fairy tale quality, to them. They will be a wonderful addition to your tree and they make lovely gifts.

How to Store DIY Christmas Ornaments
I have been wrapping my Christmas ornaments in newspaper for years. We store them in large containers in our garage. But there are lots of ways you can keep your ornaments and decorations safe when they are not out on display.
- Large ornament storage containers are great because they have individual compartments for each piece.
- You can also repurpose items around your home. Egg cartons are wonderful for small ornaments or pieces to decorative sets.
- Plastic cups for your coffee shop visits, filled with tissue, also make an inexpensive housing option.
Simple Homemade Christmas Gifts
Another fantastic way to craft during the holiday season is to make gifts for your family, friends, neighbors, etc. DIY Christmas Gifts are a great way to show your loved ones that you took time to create a gift just for them.
