Fresh peach salsa recipe is filled with summer flavors! I absolutely love fresh, homemade, salsa. This peach salsa recipe gives just enough sweetness and heat to make me happy. It takes like summer to me!
Temperatures are on the rise and we are looking for cooler snacks and meals. I love this salsa because it blends what I love about summer fruits and makes it a tangy dip. This great recipe is super fast and easy to make too.

Peach Salsa Recipe
Don’t you just love peaches? They are sweet and juicy and usually readily available at your local farmer’s market if you don’t grow your own.
I can make a meal out of the fruit salsa recipe, tortilla chips and maybe some homemade guacamole.
Picking Your Peaches!
When you pick your fruit for this peach salsa recipe you’ll want to look for ripe peaches that are firm but not hard fruit (not green or unripe). Avoid fruit that is soft and squishy or that has bruises. You can use white or yellow peaches.
Do I need a food processor for this recipe?
The recipe is written for a food processor (like this one). But you could use an immersion blender as well. Don’t have either? Just chop up small chunks and enjoy a chunkier Pico de Gallo style peach salsa.
What else can I do with the peach salsa recipe?
Good question! If you want more than chips and dip this salsa is fantastic over some grilled chicken or fish, even on roasted pork. If you don’t want cold salsa over your meat just let it come to room temperature before serving. It really compliments chicken, fish and pork. Just imagine this on some fish tacos next to the pool, or better yet…on the beach!
I want it spicier!
Hey you can definitely add some heat to this fruity salsa recipe by adding a fresh minced jalapeno (leave the seeds if you want it REALLY hot) to the mix.
Salsa Fact
Salsa simply means sauce in Spanish. They come in a huge variety from red to green (verde) salsas to fruity mango and peach salsas. Some salsas are cooked, others like Pico de Gallo are served fresh and cold.
Change it up
You can really change the flavor of this salsa recipe by substituting 1/2 the peaches for mango. Or use red onion instead of the sweet yellow onion.

The peach salsa looks so good! As soon as I find some peaches at the mk. I am going to prepare this dish. I wonder if you could use canned peaches in a pinch? What kind of food processor do you have? it looks like it is a small one. I need a small one but have not found a small one since mine has broken. With just the two of us, a small processor would be better than a family size for us. It is hard to shop around these days & find what you need. Thank you for your good recipes and all you do to help . Have a blessed day! Betty
I don’t think you’d get the same results with canned peaches BUT if you decide to try it I’d stick to a no sugar added variety.
This looks really good, I can’t wait to try it!
How much salsa does this make & how long can you keep it for in the refrigerator?
Hi Tiffany, oh, this looks so good! I want to make this NOW! I love fruity type salsas! Thanks for sharing!
